Kromax Group, including Kromax, Sunmax, Primemax and Sunfar celebrated its 30th Anniversary on October 18th at W Hotel, Taipei. It was founded by the chairman, Kell Hwang, in 1987. Among the attendees were leading companies from high-tech and biomedical industries, such as Delta Group, global leader of power and thermal management solutions; world leading semiconductor companies such as Diode Inc., MXIC, Tong Hsin, UMC; FPD leading companies such as AUO, Innolux and Power View Display Corp; AOT from LED industry; E-TON Solar, Motech, Sunrise Global Solar Energy, Tongwei and U-Tech Solar from Solar industry; SEMI Taiwan, Global industry association, and guests from Mackay Memorial Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, etc.
Alumni from National Cheng Kung University where Mr. Kell Hwang earned his B.S. degree, attended the banquet to share the joy for Kromax 30th Anniversary. There were Dr. Bruce C.H. Cheng, Founder and Honorary Chairman of Delta Group, Dr. Chung Laung Liu, Former Principal of National Tsing Hua University and Dr. Keh-Shew Lu, President and CEO of Diodes Incorporated, giving congratulation speeches at the banquet. Other speakers included Dr. Frank Wen, Chairman of E-Ton Solar Tech Co., LTD. and Mr. Terry Tsao, President of SEMI Taiwan also sent their congratulations in the remarks in the banquet.
Chairman Mr. Kell Hwang at the opening remarks said “Looking back from 1987, which I started the business, there were many hardships but also great rewards. I am so lucky to have many supports from friends, which include all of you who joined this event tonight, to accomplish 30-year milestone today. I truly appreciate your continued trust and encouragement throughout 30 years.” Mr. Tim Hwang, Vice Chairman of Kromax said that in search for constant growth in the uncertain global economy today, Kromax will give its best to enhance competitiveness and added value, and devote itself to provide good services and innovative technology solutions to its customers. “Kromax’s motto which is being a sustainable, successful and social responsible company will always be kept in mind by all Kromax members” said Mr. Rocky Chien, President of Kromax. “We will move from traditional selling agent to become an integrated technology solution provider through the cooperation with our sister companies including Sunmax, Primemax, and Kromax Southeast Asia.”
Shared the same company motto of giving back to the society, Mr. Paul Peng, Chairman of AUO, was the guest for charity performance at the banquet. He has formed an AUO saxophone band to perform for raising the public awareness to the need of aboriginal children in remote areas. Mr. Peng invited all guests to join the charity sector to spread love through music and help children in need.

There were many of them has been cooperate with Kromax more than 20 years.
Mr. Tim Hwang, vice chairman of Kromax, said in the closing remarks “ I would like to thank our partners for their kind words and generous gifts.
