On September 16, 2023, we had the honor of attending the Taiwan Society of Stereotactic Functional Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery (TSSFNR) Annual Meeting, where the Vercise Genus™ Deep Brain Stimulation System was officially announced for the first time in Taiwan.
This year's TSSFNR annual conference focused on stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), neuromodulation and artificial intelligence (AI). It not only attracted the participation of many well-known physicians and professors from home and abroad, but also shared the latest medical achievements with specialists around the world through online video conferencing.
Boston Scientific's Vercise Genus™ deep brain stimulation system attracted great attention from many neurosurgeons attending the exhibition. This exhibition is the first time that Boston Scientific's deep brain stimulator (DBS) has entered the Taiwan market. With the directional electrodes and MICC (Multiple Independent Current Control) system of Genus and the image-guided programming function, we will soon stand out in the market competition in Taiwan. In addition, Chi Yu actively established cooperative relationships with major indicator teaching hospitals in the early stage of listing to provide patients with better treatment solutions.
